"Teaching the Global Goals: Exploring synergies between teacher education programmes and the Sustainable Development Goals" is a project proposed to increase awareness of the SDGs in school curricula by incorporating SDGs in teacher education, crafting future-focused reasearch in SDGs, building networks to support SDGs, and support scientific knowledge development in SDGs. This is a colloboration of University of Pretoria, University of Innsbruck and University of Vienna, all of which are represented in the project leadership by females. Participating students are targeted from both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and execution of the research activities is primarily through online 'webinar' mode with several webinars focused on four specific SDGs each. Innovative reasearch methots that will be employed include vignette research.
