As part of the University of Vienna's semester question What should we learn when everything is changing?, Univ.-Prof. Mag. Dr. Julia Hüttner, MSc and Julia Pittenauer, BEd MEd show how research expertise in small doses can break down barriers to evidence-based teaching.
Teachers with research expertise have the necessary tools to find reliable sources, which in turn can be helpful in adapting lessons to the needs of learners. An online community for teachers of foreign languages shows how this can be achieved together.
