Five of Austria’s middle schools set out on the path of optimising the quality of education at their institutions. The focus lied on the topics of educational justice and equal opportunities for their pupils. The project was planned to span 2,5 years and aimed at collaborative school development. Initiatives were developed with the team of „Schule im Aufbruch“ together with headmistresses and headmasters, teachers and pupils and they were backed academically by the University of Vienna.
