Summer School 2023
"Methods of research in subject didactics and education"
Since 2021, the Summer School of the Centre for Teacher Education at the University of Vienna has been held jointly with the Institute of Educational Sciences at the University of Basel. This year, from 17-20 July 2023 in Spital am Phyrn, 20 participants were able to enrich the content and methodology of their own research project under the guidance and advice of international experts in lectures, workshops, poster sessions and individual counselling and subject it to a critical but friendly peer review. Lectures and workshops
- Methods and methodologies of (specialised didactic) educational research: thinking about impact and effect
- Theory and practice of instrument development and validation
- Design-based research (DBR) and development-oriented educational research: characteristics, development-oriented research approach and application models for specific research projects
- Multilingualism orientation in French lessons: design and findings of a quasi-experimental study and on multiple language learning
